What is the biggest mistake a home seller an make? Overpricing! If you don’t believe me just google it. The best way to sell your house quickly is to price it well. I like to carefully price homes to create a buzz and get the attention of as many prospective buyers as possible. The more buyers you have interested in the home the sooner it will and the higher sale price.
On the flip side, some people are stuck on a certain number that may not be what their home is worth. If they decide to go against the pricing advice of their real estate agent and price their house above market price the home will most likely sit on the market and become stale and inevitable net the seller less than what they would have gotten if they had priced at market.
